I'd appreciate it if any and all would advise me on alcoholic treatment groups in the area.

I've done some Googling, and not having much success. There must be SOMETHING I'm missing.

Looking for secular groups/outpatient centers, as AA/Al-Anon and their insistence on adding religion to the mix wouldn't work at this point in time for the person for whom I'm gathering this information.

One belief system at a time, and right now, the alcoholism takes first priority. The religion can - and probably will - come later. Gotta keep 'em separate for now.

If you prefer discretion, PM me.

Thank you.

I've got an AA handbook with meetings everywhere. If you'd like I can look for meetings in your area.

I know that Henry Ford hosp. in Wyndotte offers outpatient and inpatient treatment for chemical dependency.

I've got all kinds of info if you need it.

I am sure that in the past, you heard of the A.A. places I've talked about. I go to A.A. meetings, myself.

Save Our Selves

It's a secular organization, and there is a link you can click on to see if there are meetings in your area.

They don't incorporate religion in their meetings.

There are also organizations such as:

Atheists and Agnostics Alcoholics Anonymous

Rational Recovery Systems

Self Management and Recovery Training
