Fierce Critter Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Simple solution: Pick up any small fabric pouch and sew or pin it to the INSIDE waistband of your pants/skirt/etc. I have sewn a little fabric envelope-like pocket of my own to pin into the waistband of skirts, etc for this purpose. Also, there are little pouches you can purchase that clip to the straps of your bra and then the pouch hangs between your girlies. They're kinda silly, though. Other places to put pouches: inside looser boot tops, hang from the bottoms of corsets, shirts, etc. My favorite method, however, is to bring a husband with pants & jacket pockets. :D
Head Wreck Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 io use a jacket, but in instances such as city club sauna. goods under a leather arm bracer
Marblez Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I used to take a wallet-on-a-string type of purse with clip on straps and wear it around my waist.
Rayne Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Thanks FC! I never thought about it but now that City is allowing cell phones ... Now I need to. What a great idea!
Homicidalheathen Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 good idea, cause I have been picked a couple times in cc now.
Fierce Critter Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Yeah, it really helps to pin/sew the "pocket" INSIDE your clothes. Less likely for something to come flying out of it, and much harder for someone to steal your stuff. The one I have used I made out of a simple long rectangle of fabric, about 16" long and 6" wide. I folded the edges over about 1/2" inch and sewed them flat, then folded it over once about 5" and sewed around the 3'sides of the pocket. Then, you just fold the remaining 5" flap down and iron it crisp. Voila - instant pocket, and with the long flap hanging over the opening of the pocket, it keeps stuff more securely inside without having to put a button or other clasp on it. I sewed one on the inside of the medieval pants I made Jon for his wedding outfit, and have one I've safety-pinned inside my skirts and such.
FarrIL Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I just bring a small backpack that's functional.... big enough to carry my wallet, someone else's wallet and cigarettes, as well as our car keys and a water bottle. (( Cant wait to pimp out my Demonia spike backpack in March when I come celebrate my birthday =D ))
