A long time friend said that he was jealous of my music - threw me for a loop, really.

I vented at a friend and he got angry on my behalf. So it might not fall under the "nice" category but it sure was validating.

An 82 year old woman told me to "Tell Bruce he has a very efficient associate"....why thank you...thank you very much.

I love the elderly...especially when they don't know what I look like....

In the advancement of involuntary terms I was definetly unabridged only in ham, and not the undeniable experience of, or in being, complimented per se, in my postponed waking central to the terrifying horrors of what savage societal men may refer to commonly as 'Seven Thirty'. I did wish to hex the electronic clock for the posession my dreams did have on the flowing continuim of time, but it would not be nice I gathered, as Sesame Street had tought me in it's well-versed programs of delightful intuitive monstrous organisms which I am sure to this day still exist.

As for me, someone said my picture was pretty, but then again, he always thinks my pictures are pretty, except when I look all angry and stuff, but it's a compliment, and I'll take it. I really need to go to bed..I'm loopy...

"i love you" - that to me is the best compliment, to be loved by the people that love me.

"i love talking to you"

um one that is slightly personal said by a friend so i can't share that but it was nice to hear!

"i'll always be there for you/i'll be around forever/i'm not going anywhere" - i guess that is not a compliment but it is nice to know that some people know they always want to be in my life and there for me when i need it.

and a drunken text message from one of my friends, she's so silly:

The best part is, I really needed to hear it. (I was in a fight with another friend, and this person was getting mad with me/cheering me up. It's even more touching considering she's about to move and I haven't been spending much time with her lately. She made me cry!)

As for me, I was told that I'[m being welcomed with open arms and that my kids will have a wonderful time.

I was told it was nice of me to have a necropsy done on my cat to make sure his unexplained death wasn't due to something that could endanger the rest of my cats, that most people wouldn't care enough to do something like that.

And if that isn't a very gothy "positive" with morbidity attached, I don't know what is.

But it did make me feel slightly better about the situation.
