odims_sphere Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Is it wrong that I find it funny that this girl has had 13 men tested and all have come back not the father? Every single one she claimed to be 100% sure they were the father. It just makes me laugh.
Homicidalheathen Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Thats 13 men without condoms in a 2 week period. Its not funny so much as gross.
Wounds Within Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Or maybe it's fake. Very true. It is like the Jerry Springer show. I think your relationship pretty much is heading downhill if you get an invite.
pomba gira Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I mortally hate those shows. I was forced to watch the whole channel 4 lineup every day when I worked with Carmen. One of the more popular themes then was "straighten out my slutty daughter" and it really sickened me... these girls were obviously (to me, anyway) acting out in an attempt to reclaim their sexuality after being abused, but that was never addressed... it was just open season for the audience, family & "friends" to verbally abuse them. Only good thing was that the anger I felt watching this stuff led me to deal with some issues from my own past. I know they supposedly offer "counseling" to these people, but it's hard to imagine being able to open up to anyone connected with the experience of being humiliated on national TV.
Head Wreck Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 car- crash TV. an ugly ending but you cant help be rubbernecked. it begs the question. how do you define father? hereditory or actions and responsibility
Fierce Critter Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Gads. How can Connie Chung face him every morning? Wasn't he a serious newsman at one time? Or is my memory faulty? I hate that show. Maybe just a little less than Jerry Springer.
sass_in_the_pants Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Eh, that stuff is staged. But I don't know what's worse, actually testing 13 men to see who is the father, or pretending that just to get a free trip to Chicago (or where ever that show is filmed).
Reaper Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!

You always have such great insight. Very true. I'm glad to see there is one proven person to have found some good come out of one of those shows.
