Hello,

My name is Stephanie and I will be returning home to Bloomfield Hills in about a week and a half after spending 7 years in the Navy.

I used to go to Gotham City Cafe, City Club, The Labrynth, and Ascention.

Most of my friends from that time have vanished, moved, or such.

I plan to attend college for mechanical engineering as soon as possible once I am home.

I am single with one 5 year old daughter

That's about it....

WOW! Ascention, I haven't heard that spoken in a long time. I used to go there evert Wednesday night then have to drive home to Lansing... Ahh those were the days.

Not automotive, the trends recently give me the heebie-jeebies when it comes to the automotive market (DAMN you Ford!!!!)

I was thinking more along the lines of robotics. Mars Rover, industrial contamination clean-up, maybe even my own mech-suit

Ya. cars are cool but Detroit and the car industry are not the place to be these days... :unsure:

I just recently migrated from the car industry to....... vacuums. It sucks. :laugh:

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
