Wounds Within Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I know that I am setting myself up, but I admit I am a fan of wrestling. Although I really don't watch it much these days as I did when I was a young lad, it just isn't as much fun as it used to be, but I still go see it whenever it comes to town. It really is alot of fun with you get a big group of your friends to go with you. I was actually at Wrestlemania 3 back in 1987 at the Silverdome cheering on Hulk Hogan. It is pretty funny when I look back becasue at the time I thought wrestling was real and was amazed that someone could get hit with a chair and then get right back up like nothing happened. (The Silverdome still holds the worlds indoor attendance record for Wrestlemania 3 with over 93,173 people) Tickets for the event started to go on sale on November 11, 2006. As of February 28, 2007, ticket sales for WrestleMania 23 stand at approximately $12 million, with more than 78,000 tickets sold and still growing. This makes WrestleMania 23 already the highest grossing pay-per-view in history as well as the highest grossing event in professional wrestling history, shattering the previous record of $3.9 million held at WrestleMania 18. Is anyone else going to pack into Ford Field to see this event?
SpidersMoment Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I was invited to go on April 1st. I dont really want to go, cuz im not a huge fan of wrestling. But i do want to have bragging rights. And see Undertakers last show.
