Marblez Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Here is a good picture of the cheekies that I mentioned.
Marblez Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Sorry it took so long...took forever to get the camera set up to get that picture of myself at the right angle...
SomeDanGuy Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 I'm sure you could've just asked someone here at the forum to snap it for you...
Marblez Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hey! That's my butt!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, actually that is DTC's butt. He was resisting. I finally lured him over here.
JaneDead Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 i can't wear cheekies. i guess i have too much cheeky to fit in there.
JaneDead Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 brenda, i would LOVE to give you some of my cheeky. you can have half of it if you can safely take it and make it yours
Brenda Starrr Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 Bring it. Even when I was 200lbs, I never had any ass to speak of. Unless you count the 185lbs of ass that I shed when I left my ex husband. That was not an attractive ass.
Fierce Critter Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I got those ruffled cheekies today. Warning to anyone who might like to order a pair yourself: They are VERY VERY roomy. Unlike most Torrid/Hot Topic clothes which run small for their stated size, these are VERY oversized. They only come in 2 sizes - 1/2 and 3/4. I got the 3/4, and turns out I could have probably fit very well into the 1/2 - and I run on the high side of their sizes when it comes to things like tops & pants. Perhaps it's because of the way they're constructed. Instead of ruffling the lace and THEN applying it to the panty, they ruffled the ENTIRE panty - so there's a ton of room for stretch. This is good if you're bigger than Torrid usually caters to. But bad if you want them to fit right. To me, the attraction of the ruffled look is having it be able to peek out under a short skirt. These ride SO high, you'll show ton more "bun" than ruffle. I took a good look at them, and found that the "cheekie" construction is central to an extra-long crotch. These are so roomy, I'm going to see if I can shorten the crotch so the butt panty will ride lower. They'll end up more like a low-rise or boy short style, but will suit the ruffled style much better I think. Torrid doesn't offer explanations of measurements on their panties. I highly recommend you e-mail customer service for measurements if you intend to purchase anything from them. I know one person in particular there is practically on-call to me for that sort of thing, and they're very happy to do so.
TomCat Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Yes, one wouldn't want to be caught in saggy panties...That's just not hot.
Aralis Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I like the cotton boy briefs. They are comfy and make my butt look kinda nice. I have some cute Hello Kitty ones. I sometimes wear thongs when I am feeling sexy(I have a huge collection of em..lol) and I also like the all lace briefs that someone posted a picture of earlier. Those are pretty comfy as well. I am still considering buying some of those rhumba ruffly underwear. We sell them at my work in a few different colors and I think they are so cute. Would be great under a skirt!
Brenda Starrr Posted April 1, 2005 Author Posted April 1, 2005 I'm in search of nice cotton boy shorts. I don't know why I'm having a hard time finding them. I don't really feel like paying VS prices. Any suggestions?
Aralis Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I find mine at Jc Pennys...Target.....I think I might even of bought some at Rue 21.
Maelstrom Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 Hrm. I'm not sure I really like the Cheekies look. I used to wear colorful briefs until my ex-goylefiend suggested I switch to boxers. Now I wear boxers. There are many more patterns to choose from and it's more roomy down there.
