It was a common sight to have that many (or more) at peak times back in the day when i was at full-energy and promoting DGN at full steam and encouraging others to help do the same more regularly. In the last few weeks i've started up again, and the average post counts and new member registration stats are starting to climb again, but its a long process, as for every 5 people you talk to 1 shows up , and for every 5 that show up, 1 becomes a "long term active regular". So its a lot of work.

I'll be making some "help us promote DGN" pushes on the board (i've alerady been doing it in "real life" a bit). Basicly dragging everyone and anyone that seems like the might be mildy intrested in DGN is the way to do it.

Good man. Thanks for the help. Dont get discouraged if they dont show up, it takes a lot of "suggestion" before some people will show. (and some never will, after 2-3 tries on the same person, just dont bother anymore , you cant push a rope) Unless its like your best friend or some such.

One method that works very well is just "Are you on DGN?" just that, and wait for a response. Ask somone that at a club and they have to at least think about it for a second, then whatever they respond other than "yes i am and im >so and so
