I got an offer to produce another bands music - how cool is that?

Doubt it will pay much if anything but it'll be more experience and name recognition.

Good luck, I wish you the best. Personally I couldn't do it, musicians are generally insane and get offended when you have them change their "art" even if it is for the better. Very fragile egos.

Thanks and you are so right but being a musician myself I've dealt with ego's for so long it just rolls off my back.

Personally - I'm not worried about their songs so much as my production work and gaining a rep in the business.
