On the cover of the new Fangoria it says something about Return of the living dead 4 and 5. Does anyone have any more info about it?

I found this quote (or extreemly similar versions) in about 4 different places on the net but nothing more detailed:

There's a fourth RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD movie in the works.

While talking to Fangoria actor-writer-director William Butler revealed that the franchise may be rising again. Butler, who is currently writing the film's script says, "I'm reinventing the franchise. My take on the sequel is a combination of martial arts, anime and horror. [Executive producer Tom Fox] would like to get a DAWSON'S CREEK cast in there this time, and we are beginning to talk with directors."

Butler also drops, "We're also developing a RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD TV series."

very interesting! I never imagined a tv series of zombies. if they do it right that would be cool, but how much gore can they show? i kind of like the idea.

Heh it does sound a bit funny but actors are actors. Reasonably competent ones can pull off a wide rage of parts. In this case, lets say "zombies attack a "dawsons creek" type community. Im sure they could work up some screams and "omg wtf ????" type looks fairly easily. :laughing:
