I like paranormal type movies....either stuff about telekinesis or any forms of ESP and/or ghosts. Those stories hook me everytime. For instance the movie 'Constantine' was not a good movie on any level but because of it's subject matter I was into it.

I like the idea that there are people who can see things or sense things that other people can not see or sense, especially those who can make contact with the dead. I think this is why I liked the movie 'White Noise' even though it was panned by critics. I also like M Knight Shamylan because his movies deal with this in some shape or another, the 6th sense is obvious but Unbreakable was more subtle in it's depiction of a human who seems to exist on another plane than the others, the movie Signs dealt with faith and religion and to be honest I thought Mel Gibson was excellent. The movie Pi also deals with a man whose knowlege of the the meaning of PI causes religious and financial parties to try to use his mind for their gain to dangerous results.
