Many thanks for the warm and friendly welcomes. Hmmm, what to say about myself... I've been in and out of the Detroit gothic scene for about 15 years now. I started clubbing when I was still in high school (yep, w/ fake ID). I just moved back to MI this year after living in New Orleans for a few years. I had fun there, but I learned to appreciate Detroit more after being away from it. I currently live in Clawson, but I've lived in Hamtramck, Ferndale, and Ann Arbor over the years. I'm a tattooed and pierced librarian, but the teens I work with seem to think it's pretty cool ;-). I go to CC almost every weekend (usually on Sat.) and to Necto on Mondays at least once a month. Say "Hello" if you recognize me at CC this weekend, as I shall be there both Fri. and Sat. (most likely). I'm going for sure tonight w/ a friend, and we tend to be on the dance floor A LOT.

I used to live on the CC dance floor... walk in door, get a drink, walk right out to the "platform", stand there with Terry, John, Keith or whoever else... slam the drink, then start dancing. The maybe after a half hour of that wander over to the corner by the DJ booth with Dean and/or Greg for a bit.... Dance.... for like 15 minutes... take a break... dance... take a break.. all night long until forced to leave by screams of "GET THE FUCK OUT!" :laughing:

Nowadays im much less likely to be on the dance floor, just becasue theres so many people at CC i want to say hi to and its somewhat difficult to talk in the dance floor area. In very recent years the dance floor area aggrivates some of my car-accident related symtomps more than the non-dance areas - i do still dance though(but im getting better). If i dont dance at least somewhat i feel cheated.

If you know anyone else that might like DGN drag em on over kickin and screaming please.

Work? I work in a public library in Oakland County. Yep, I'm a librarian by profession.

School? high school: Lahser High School in Bloomfield Hills college: Western MI Univeristy for my BA & Wayne State University for my MA

Kids? Do pets count? I have 8 pets.

Married? Nope, I've never been married.

Single? Sorta. Kinda.

Hobbies? reading, writing, painting, watching movies, dancing, deconstructing everything, telling bad jokes, etc.
