Click on "My Controls" at the top of the forum. This will take you to the Control Panel. In the menu column on the left hand side, you will find the heading "Personal Profile". From here, click on "edit Avatar Settings" not "Change Personl Photo".

Insert URL of your online image (minus the http://) OR Click "Browse" to upload one from your PC.

Click Update Avatar and Voila! Your picture will show up under all of your posts.

...or it won't look right and you will end up having to crop it square or save to a different format or...
