Homicidalheathen Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Cause yer so goth. http://www.razedinblack.net/pages/razed.html http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=46341916 Go listen to the second one.
Scary Guy Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 You mean the second song, that they've been playing since I started going to city club 6 years ago and overplayed for three of those? " Electronica / Industrial / Trance" I don't see goth listed anywhere in what genres the categorize themselves under. I hear they're nice guys though and the drummer is insane.
Homicidalheathen Posted April 23, 2007 Author Posted April 23, 2007 Yes the oh my goth song. What drummer isn't insane?
Scary Guy Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 What drummer isn't insane? I mean more insane than most.
JaneDead Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Yes the oh my goth song. What drummer isn't insane? of all the drummers i know i think only one is slightly insane though i don't think he knows it yet. all the others are quite normal, sane people.
Msterbeau Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 of all the drummers i know i think only one is slightly insane though i don't think he knows it yet. all the others are quite normal, sane people. Drummers are insane. Stop ruining this thread with your stubborn independence.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Many groups that have some goth sounding stuff, are just that. "a bit gothy at times" Then there is the others that basically get their bread & butter paid for by the goth scene but try very hard to avoid being called goth. All though the history of the scene many bands have been very reluctant to ever call themselves goth mainly due to the stigma of goth not being a "serious" genre. Often bands that get closely associated with "goth" will intentionally push away from the scene, hoping to breakout into a more mainstream act. Its always been more up to the fan base to call a band goth rather than the bands themselves. They'll take our money, but would prefer we didn't let it be known too much. Not that any of this is particularly on topic. Omg
Homicidalheathen Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 Personally I think Jim Henson had it right when he designed his drummer as 'animal' a total spaz with wild hair..... My ex was a drummer. He got so drunk once he fell backwards off the stage which was up pretty high....but he kept waving his stix in the air like he was still playing...it was hellarious.
