Klaus Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 So none the less, i picked her up at 2. and from her place we drove around Ypsi/ann arbor and just talked. this that, anything. then we ended up at the mall we browsed hottopic and various other stores and just talked...A LOT! so then from teh mall we drove around some more just here and there chatting the day away. and we stopped for lunch/dinner at Bennigans (I paid... I are gentlemans!) and we then chatted there for an hour or so. then we went downtown ann arbor. we played games at pinball petes, DDR guitar freaks, racing game, so on. and then we just walked around downtown doing jack crap just talking the whole time, and then i took her home. *happy huge sigh* so out of the 7 hours we hung out. maybe TOTAL there was between 5-10 minutes of silence. OUT OF 7 HOURS! The only reason i took her home is she had a final to finish so all in all it turned out to be the greatest evening I've had in a long time! Nick is in a terrific mood! WOOT!!!!
BrassFusion Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 what happened last time you started acting like this
glc Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 C'mon Erin, I'm pretty cynical about relationships too, but at least I aggree that the first date is pretty exciting. Cut Nic some slack and be excited for him. If he anounces his engagement, then be worried!!
Onyx Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 It's always fun to find someone who you like to talk to. That's one of my favorite things - as I can see by my long distance bill, heh.
Homicidalheathen Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I am so happy for you. I may be oldfashioned but I think there is someone out there for everyone....unfortunatly for me I think mine is on another planet or lives in another time or something....dunno.
Homicidalheathen Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Don't listen to these pessimistic goths. Give it all you got cause all you got is what you got to give and life isn't worth living if you give any less.
ManicQueen Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 First dates are usually fun. I'm happy to hear you had a good time. Remember to take things slow and just enjoy each others company for now.
Gauge Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 couldnt agree more manic, the only thing i have to add to that is dont have expectations. thats great that your date turned out well!
Marblez Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I am glad you had a good time. I truly am. BUT, I have to say this.... considering some recent drama that you have brought here, I am left questioning whether this full account detail was solely for the purpose of sharing your blissful evening, or an attempt to send a message to or "get back" at a former relationship of yours.
Rayne Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I am glad you had a good time. I truly am. BUT, I have to say this.... considering some recent drama that you have brought here, I am left questioning whether this full account detail was solely for the purpose of sharing your blissful evening, or an attempt to send a message to or "get back" at a former relationship of yours. I'm willing to bet that he just wanted to share ... Notice he stayed out of all the drama when it was here. The drama he brought I don't think was purposely. It was quickly removed and the subject was dropped. I just wanted to say that. I am happy for him and I'm glad he's doing well.
