First off I was wondering if this was happening to anyone else. It started happening to me awhile ago, and I don't know whats causing it. The browser I use is Mozilla 2.0.

When I click on last post by on certain threads, or attempt to go to the newest page, such as 'What are you doing?" I get an error that looks like this.

Uh.. Except without the thing about soda I added in 'paint'..

Then ALL the topics come up in Tree Diagrams now, I've blanked out the names/posts but heres what it looks like:

So yeah I'm wondering if this is something I can only fix on my end or if it's happening to anyone else? O_o

That is strange. I use mozilla and I've never seen that message before now.

I'm sure someone here will know what's going on.

I use Mozilla on the Toshiba laptop ... Safari on the Mac, never had that issue. I have Comcast too.

Not sure what is going on with your account. Mine is working fine and I use pretty much the same setup (FF 2.0.0.3)

First off ... hi :wave

Ok then... Can you duplicate this right now? If you can what is the specific link your using that gives the same error?

O.k. Thanks for the help thus far, the tree thing isn't going away but its not that big of a deal.

Hello. :welcome: As for the error pages, they seem to come on the very last page of bigger threads (like when I click 'last post by'), but if I try getting to those last pages any other way I still get the error too. Smaller threads I can still access, but here are links to the pages. I can get to every page of these bigger threads but the last/nearest one.

Hrmm.

All these links work fine for me. There was a time though, i'd say about a month ago that i had this same error. It was around the same time we had board-wide errors with a lot of different posts. The problem , at least that most users were having is now fixed.

This might be an artifact left over from that time.

It could be that your browser is trying to load the old (f-ed up) versions of these posts. I assume becasue they are stored in your browser , and the browser isnt trying to download the "new" versions.

Do you know how to clear your cache? If not just ask if so, i'd say log out, clear your cache, close the browser, log back in and check the links again.

I checked and cookies were the only thing not on auto delete. So it turns out that was the thing behind both of the problems.

I believe I have made a stupid. :laugh:

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
