Can You Help Me Identify A Song By Video?

There was this song that came out, probably would have been around 2003, 2004 or so. I totally do not remember ANY lyrics, except for at one point, the guy singing says a very tired sounding "yeah" accompanied by the girl in the band. I know - absolutely worthless info. So I can't search by lyrics. The only other thing I remember about the song that sticks out was they used a touch of toy piano at the end.

But the video, I remember. It features the entire band in sort of animated scenes, and their heads are blown up really big. It starts with the lead singer guy riding in a car. He's driving, and slapping the side of the car door in beat with the music. I'm pretty sure at one point the girl shows up, also with a big head, pushing a baby carriage, in which there is yet another member of the band with - a big head.

I vaguely remember at one point the guy in the car sort of crashes and goes flying through the air. And I think at one point, you see all the members of the band walking together.

The band probably didn't put out another song heard on radio or on video. I know it was while we were living in NC, and pretty sure it would have been in 2003 (based on where we were living at the time).

We had the song on our harddrive at one point, but Jon deleted all his personal MP3's and that was one of them.

Longshot, I know. But I've searched the living crap out of YouTube, ASK.com, Google, etc on "big head" video, toy piano, etc. I'm at a loss.

Looking at a couple independent (non-billboard or soundscan) charts, I'm thinking it could have been earlier than that. Maybe even around 2001 or so.

From what was described it does. Necto used to have it playing on their main screen on their website, but now they have something else ...

I don't recall there ever being a girl in that band though.

Maybe "Clint Eastwood" or another song by them too ... search youtube for "Gorillaz"

there was a girl in the gorillaz- in dare her lines were "you've got depression on you, you just think it, that's what you do baby..." i mighta got the words wrong, but that's what they sorta sounded like. dare's off demon days, like feel good inc.

i really think that was a 2005 album, though, so maybe that's not it. GREAT album, though, highly recommended if you're into trip-hop and dennis hopper.

and clint eastwood was pre-2001... i only remember that because they banned it on clear channel after the attacks. still never figured out why that one got the axe

Nope. Not gorillaz. Gorillaz is an actually animated band. This band is genuine humans. The video just takes their images and blows up their heads to bobble-head size, but they're still human and non-animated.

Everything around them is animated, though. The car, baby carriage, etc.

The song is sort of drowsy. And the guy's singing style is similar to Damon Albairn (lead singer for Gorillaz/Blur).
