i was lurking for a bit, but now on 'cause my socks are dry and i can post.

i'm a bit tired tho, cause socks are tough work. not just my socks but

fixing the ISSUES with my ride --

tomorrow i gotta ride into work, cause i fixed my fuxored vacuum

on the motorcycle, so its mostly ok to take to work. there's a big meeting

in the morning. i hope we're not all getting fired. but lunch is free, and

its thai tomorrow, and i like thai.

the good news is that since the bike is ok again, i'm free to use the

Whats an HOV?

-- commuting lanes.... diamond lanes... this is ALSO theONLY state in the US which ALSO lets motorcycles

ride "between" cars -- right between stopped traffic. that CUTS the 7-MILE

commute from 40 minutes to 15 minutes.

Hopefully we can talk you into sticking around and posting more often.

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
