Chrono trigger

Anyone ever played chrono trigger before? I'f not and if some of you are huge fans on "role-playing-games" chrono trigger is a good game ta try. Me personaly its one of the best role-playing-games I ever played in my life, the story-line is very interesting and ironic, I remember back in the day when it was released for super-nes and I rented it everytime I came home from school and spent hours and hours playing, first time I played I couldnt stop, actually any good rpg game was like a drug to me, but anyways after when I first beated it I would re-play it through again and un-lock all the diffrent endings, magus was my favorite character throughout the rest of the game.Now-a-days chrono-trigger was re-released for ps1, along with FF4 (originally 2 in the US) FF4's also a good game and brought back memory's but thats a whole new diffrent story, anyways whutz kewl about it being re-released for ps1 is there are specail features added to it and anime-seqeunces throughout the game, now, in a way the art-work looks way too similiar ta dragon ball z, like crono looks like goku and lucca looks like bulma. Oh, another kewl thing crono is completely silent throughout the whole game, it be kewl ta go through life without having to say nuthing and people would already know whut you want and whut you mean. *sigh* man, I miss my ps2, its been ages since I played that game, I have the game for ps1, but no system ta play it on, one of these days i'll have a ps2 again.

For chrono cross, the game was kewl but also kinda dissapointing, even though it emvolves kinda the same story from trigger but it still was kinda lame, but of course I re-played through that game a couple times as well too and found all 42 characters or even more, I like having poshul in my party for some odd reason and at the final boss was very challenging, kicking its ass was no big deal but getting the good ending was a bitch, in order ta obtain that you had ta play the color notes in certain order and in order to do that ya had to cast a certain elemental spell, and whut makes it harder is that when the boss casts a elemental spell at anytime to fuck it up, I finally ended up pulling it all off and saw the "specail ending" on that note, the chick thats imprisoned inside the boss is schala, magus's sister who got lost in time from chrono trigger.

Gawd im in such a nerdy geeky mood tonight, if im posting about video games which means I need to get a ps2 again or any video game console.

geek away, man.

i never played chrono trigger, but i do rememeber that game somewhat. buddy o mine played the hell outta it.

me personally, i loved the dragon warrior series (hey! remember nintendo? ). if i could have all 4 of those again, id be a happy man.

last FF i played was FF2 (hey! remember super nintendo? :wink : ) and to be honest, i think theyve all been pretty much the same game after that...

as for today, i still have an old PS1, but i hardly ever play it. i have soul blade, and thats enough for me.

DRAGON WARRIOR!, only relaly played 1. What was it 72 down 24 right? I forgot.

Anyhow Chrono Trigger was a fantastic game. Tried to get as many of the endings as I could and the secret place at the end was cool too. What a great story that had.

YAY! Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games of all time, followed closely by FF3. I've played Cross too, but I agree the story wasn't quite as deep. (It's always like that.. they had to compensate with the old school games... now it's like ohhhhh pretty.... what story??)

I've played all the FF games now except the minor ones for Game Boy and 11 because I refuse to play online. (I hate that) I loved The Dragon Warrior games too! I still can hear that piercing annoying music... ahhh the days... :)

Crono Trigger is by far one of the best RPG's of it's era along with The SNES Final Fantasys and SEGA's Phantasy Star. I could play these games for hours on end to this day. You know it kinda makes me wonder... What the heck happend to RPGs? These days for the most part it's like playing through a cut sceen. The Graphics seem to be more important than the gameplay and the story. Now don't get me wrong FFX and Kingdom Hearts were great games but they just didn't have that same I want to play them over and over again qualities like Chrono Trigger had.
