I'm kinda confused though. In the description of the rings, it said that they were getting garnets... I thought garnets were deep red...

There are green garnets. I can't recall the name of them right now, and I'm too lazy to look them up.....

They are Tsavorite garnets from the Tsavo river area.... you might remember the Tsavo River from those two lions who kept trying to help the world by eating Val Kilmner. They unfortunately did not succeed in their primary mission... but as a consolation, they did mange to mangle and devour Michael Douglas !!W00t!! If you want to visit them, they are stuffed and standing guard at the Field Museum in Chicago (the Lions, not our rings).
