Me and twin 1 had a long talk yesturday and we are getting along better than ever. And twin two tells me she loves me everyday and gives me hugs. (this is a big deal coming from someone who proclaims she 'hates all humans')

And now significant other is making me breakfast.

Funny how things can change overnight. I am so f*cking mad right now. But I won't post about it here. Used to come here for support and understanding but things have changed. It has become the place of gossip and finger pointing....rarely are good words spoken about each other unless your fitting into mainstream ideals. So I will go post on myspace.

naw seriously, any live group of people or internet forum or any social structure is what you make of it. this place is cool because there's such a variety of opinions you're almost sure to get a broad reaction of whatever topic you put forward. the ones that piss you off? you could ignore them, but it's wise to take them into consideration anyway. and as for people talking behind your back... =)

it's behind your back. so what does it matter? let it roll off and give them some positive stuff to say.

I'm just curious. Why even bring this up here? Just go post about it on myspace. It's almost as if you're INVITING the drama. Not everyone supports everyone elses choices here. Some are bright enough to keep it to themselves. Unfortunately, not all will spare your feelings and avoid giving you their opinions. Therefore, you should go blog about it instead of ranting about the lack of support that you feel you should receive in regards to your lifestyle. What do you mean by "mainstream Ideals?" I'd like to think that, as adults, we ARE our own people here. Most DGN members are capable of making their own observations and forming their own opinions on this.

I'm sorry that things got bad overnight...but just as quick as things got bad they could become good or even better. *HUG* I hope things get better for you soon.

Much better today. But I do get more input on myspace these days. Just posted something else.

I have to ask this of you all though.

If, a man quits his job so he won't have to pay child support.......don't you think it would be ok for the government to step in and MAKE him work?

I know they can't but....seeing as how when he wasn't paying he was able to hold a full time well paying job.....why not?

He does this everytime she gets the kids. He quits. It sucks.

I know I don't want the govn'ment getting too involved in peoples lives but....in this case....common.

Also, they waited to put the kids in her care while they found 'proof' of abuse....which led to the kid getting more abuse because she lived with him!!! WTF?

I don't know EXACTLY what the rules are here but in MD, they can take his license away. If he continues on, he can be placed in jail. Most fathers don't bother to contact the Division of Child Support and Enforcement to let them know if they're making better money, just to avoid a hike in their support rate. It's really sad when a father doesn't care enough about their kids to make sure that they get what they need. They SHOULD make them get jobs. It's not fair to the children. They're the ones who actually suffer.

As for the abuse, I'm confused as to why the mother wouldn't take her child someplace safe while the abuse is being investigated. The fact that they're "waiting" is bullshit.If the mother knows that the children are being abused, she needs to go to her local law enforcement agency and file WHATEVER appropriate paperwork is necessary.
