I would like to say it's the power of the short skirt, but I find that actual conversations with the girls in the bathroom/city bites become the true quality members.. I think I'll just hang out in the bathrooms from now on..

Beyond the whole being hot and short skirted and stuff part *puts mirrors on shoes*... the more lengthy "soft sell" system does work best if one gets the opportunity rather than just slappin a card in someones hand. That is, having a reasonably lengthy conversation with someone new and then hitting them up for DGN. Which from the stories i hear seems to be fairly common in the girls bathroom.

Its energy-intensive though and often we only end up with time or energy to slap a card in someones hand. I will say that more people that mention it to the same person , seems to work well. If a guy hears about DGN one time they are less likely to show up than if multiple people mention it or suggest it. Just random commentary.

Normally when someone signs up for the Street Team i send them the DGN cards inside a piece of paper that just has something i wrote like "thanks for signing up.. blah blah!" (Your all on the ST so you knew that anyway right?) But along with trying to get the whole thing more solidified i made this page that i will use now instead inside the envelopes:

I think it looks a lot more professional and sets up the idea that we are actually serious about needing help and what exactly to do and such.

I received the promotion DGN cards today-03.25.08....I pulled in already one member from the outside...I know I know...not much but it's a start.....He's a little weary about attending C.C. for some unk reason....Thanks Troy......Also what are the other types of titles one can acheive from DGN....tHANKS

Thats awesome. 1 member is 1 more than 80% of the street team honestly, keep up the good work. And thanks for letting me know you got the cards, it helps me, since i often hear like 2 weeks later that someone never got anything. It also keeps this topic active so its clear to potential new ST helpers that we are alive and kicking.

once i can figure out how to get rid of the white border, i can make one for everyone who is a ST member. I think this is an awesome idea, because i don't have a chance to go out and hand out cards, BUT i do talk alot about DGN online. I think that this will help, because if this is posted in their MySpace comments, or where ever, i think that ppl will tend to not forget. :D I will keep working on it, and get back to you, as soon as I can perfect it. :D

I fixed it! no more white border!!! hehe

I made it slow so that ppl looking at it can read both sides... instead of flashing really fast....

If you want, Troy, send me a list of all -ACTIVE- ST members, and I will create one for all of them

here you go... here's mine... must warn you, when i shrank the front image, the words on the front got distorted, SO i had to redo them in just plain white, and just plain red.... i had to save it as a JPEG, otherwise the program i was using wouldn't have worked right, so the last line on the card saved a shade darker than i would have liked... BUT, you can still read what it says.... hope you like!
