Homicidalheathen Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 First time I went I got a stale piece of bread. So I was kinda bashing the place and people thought I was crazy. (well I am, but thats a different story) Well I gave it a second chance and wow. It is so good I might camp out in the parking lot.
GOREgeouslyDecorated Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 LOL - I used to live on Pantera Bread when I worked at the mall - and yes, I call it 'Pantera' Bread, LOL
Troy Spiral (13) Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I assume thats a specific bakery? I really do prefer "good bread" but it dries out so fast, i tend to not bother with it. =(
Dollardave Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I fucked a girl named nicole from panera bread in novi. Met her at city club =)

My sis worked there for a while so I had to try it.. HOOKED, I AM. The salads are yummy. The soup is yummy. The bagels are yummy. Now.. I dont recommend the desserts. They are so pretty, but taste like buttered cardboard.
Onyx Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I assume thats a specific bakery? I really do prefer "good bread" but it dries out so fast, i tend to not bother with it. =( It's actually a bread/coffee house/internet cafe type place with soup, salads and all kids of light fare. They are a fun place if you are eating alone too because they have small little tables that only seat two or couches you can sit and surf with your laptop on their free wireless. It's always a great place to check your email and such if you are out of town. and HH I LOVE it too. My favorite meal there is their salad (always so fresh) and french onion soup. mmmm Good rich soup over brown bread cubes. Good tea and coffee too. mmm. This is making me want one of their good green tea or chai tea drinks. If my financing comes through my house will be in walking distance of my local Panera bread.
sass_in_the_pants Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 If we're going to talk about delis that we love...Eph Mcnally's in Corktown. Drool, drool, drool. I have left work EARLY some days, just to get my ass down there for some sammich. On the vegetarian one, they put avocado and sprouts. Oh, how I love avocado and sprouts.
Homicidalheathen Posted June 11, 2007 Author Posted June 11, 2007 I noticed that too......they had a little cophee shop section with internet access. My kids say the drinks are good.....smoothies and frapachino or whatever its called. I had the portabella sandwitch and brocolli soup yesturday.....yums.
Fierce Critter Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 One of Jon's co-workers when we lived in NC picked up leftovers from Panera daily for a local mission. He shared with co-workers often. Jon would bring home trash-bag sized bags of stuff sometimes. I LOVE those things that are like giant, gourmet pop-tarts filled with chocolate. Do they still make those? Heh. The Mexicans atthe shop he worked at would get greedy though. If they got to the stuff first, nobody else would get anything. Jon saw one amigo stash his stuff in a locker, once. He took the bag out of the locker when the guy wasn't around, and drove over it with the hi-lo. :D
