soothsayer Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I use to play this at the arcade. Does anyone remember those? I liked this game alot and it helped pass the time on days I skipped out on classes. :whistling:
SomeDanGuy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Heck yeah! This was one of those games that would run for a long time with a rotation of kids pumping quarters in. Like ninja turtles and the simpsons game
soothsayer Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Yes, it is a great game. A friend of mine liked it so much he named his first band Rampage. It was the late 80's.
SomeDanGuy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Ha, after reading the start of that sentence my mind wanted it to be "...he named his first child Rampage". That would've been even awesomer
soothsayer Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005  Nope, but rampage was his first girlfriends nickname.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Yeah this one was up there with the original Gauntlet in terms of money-pissed-away on an arcade game. They had this one up at the local bowling alley, i remember riding my bike up there one day circa 1989(?) to find that Gauntlet was gone and me and my buddy where like WHAT THE F$$@#! and it was replaced with this game. But we ended up pissing away just as much lunch money on this thing as we did on gauntlet (well almost as much, not quite) I also remember this being one of the games that tended to make you want to pound on the buttons harder as if that did any extra damage or something. Luckily for the bowling alley owner he replaced our beloved Gauntlet with this (fun) game or else i think we would have lynched him as he had alredy fucked us by replacing the plastic-bubble-dome hockey game we played, with gauntlet.

I always looked for this game whenever my parents took me to major magics/chuckecheese ( not sure which one it was that i went to all the time ). Arcades are such an eighties thing which was killed off by nintendo/atari/etc...although I still wasted money at arcades even after I had nintendo and ton of games.

LOL
