I was hungry on one particular day last week and I was ebating going out and buying something, but too lazy to get in my car, and I didnt want to spend money.

SO, I browsed around the kitchen and at first glance, I didnt see anything appetizing. I took a second look and found some shell noodles. I got to thinking "add ranch and seasonings and how does it taste?"

So I boiled the noodles, drained them, added some ranch dressing (( just enough to lightly coat every noodle )) and then seasoned it with garlic salt, monterey chicken and seasoned salt.

SOOOOOO good. I made it again a few days later and made my sister Leslie try some. She thought it tasted pretty damn good too.

So, ever come up with an interesting combo?

My daughters keep coming up with interesting variations on standard sandwiches. How's about peanut-butter and mayo and cheese?

My dad was really good at that. It was one of the really great things about living with him during my junior year of high school. Plus, it was a vegetarian household, so all the food was delicious.

There's very few things I love more than croutons. When I make a salad it's approximately 10% lettuce, 30% Dressing, 10% other, 50% crouton. I got sick of buying a bag like everyday so I came up with this, and they taste better than the store bought crap.

Bread + olive oil + seasoning (I use garlic, pepper, salt, and oregano) + bake at 200 - 300 (depends on how impatient you are) until all crispy and good = best croutons you'll ever fucking have.

Period.

My mother always made barbecue beef for sandwiches out of leftover roast.

cut up the roast into thin slices. Throw in a pot. Add about 1 cup of catsup, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, about 3 TBS worchestershire sauce, 1 tsp dry mustard, 1/2 tsp chili powder, black pepper to taste, 2 tsp onion powder (or finely chopped real onion if you like them, which I don't). Mix together and heat just to boiling, turn down to a very slow simmer and throw on a lid. Heat through about 15 minutes to 30 and serve on buns.

Nummy.

Sounds so damn good. Only problem is that I'm in college and do not have that many ingredients in my house at any given time. I can do about 100 different things with Mac 'n' Cheese and Ramen Noodles however. Some of these things are not so kosher, howev.

I am a HUGE fan of shephard's pie.

Do you know what it is?

Its mashed potatoes, ground beef, cheese, spices, sometimes has corn, some type of cracker crumbs or (in my case) cornbread stuffing.

Thing is, its summer and i am mostly vegan for summer..

so mashed potatoes, little bit of 3 cheese "crumbles" blend by Kraft, garlic salt, and these fake meatballs i get from Kroger in the produce section.. (they are called "Meatless Meatballs", Veggie Patch is the brand and i think they are de-liSH! they taste like the meatballs at weddings with the gravy on them.. surprisingly yummy!!)

and Voila!!

Yummy, pretty healthy, and not a "heavy meal".. try it!

This will sound odd...and it is not by any means healthy but chocolate and nacho cheese...discovered by accidently dropping a little debbie into nachos...lol

Also ramen noodles boiled with an egg, it makes them extra creamy and good.

Take about 2 joints worth good pot. Clean and grind. Put aside. Take out One large cookie doughs worth peanut butter cookie dough ready made Pillsbury roll stuff about 2-3 table spoons worth or MORE and flatten it on tray for toaster oven or regular, set at 3-350 degrees.

Dont cook dough yet.

Take a small (glass preferred) pot and tip it on its side with lid so only one corner is touching eye of stove.

Put in 1/4 cup or 4 table spoons extra light virgin olive oil.

Mix in pot. Well, get all of it saturated. Turn on heat to VERY LOW bubble pot in this for -3-7 minutes remove from flame if it bubbles to fast or steams too much, DONT SCORCH YOUR WEED. Just heat it to get the green into the oil a bit.

Now take this mix and combine it into douch VERY WELL so oil and pot is mixed into douch completely.

Cook in toaster or oven evenly.......check to make sure all sides cook evenly......dont scorch. Its done when cookie dough is just slightly toasted.

Yum and wow what a buzz.
