And......I already know our goth/industrial scene sux in comparison to the rest of the world and most of the country.

Wow, it's like a gothic Woodstock lol. Check out Wave-Gotik-Treffen too. That is probably 3 or 4 times the amount of bands as this one. One day I will make it to one of those.

This does look fun and all, but one thing I'm really jumping out of my skin for is their annual metal fest... 300 european metal bands... one big fuckin concert...

After I attend that, I can just die, there won't be anything else I'll want to stay alive to see after that...

I visited a girlfriend in germany twice.

A horde of 70+ skinheads rampaging seemingly un-empeded through downtown Berlin changed my mind about living there pretty rapidly.

Hm, well I'm not too worried about skin heads.. But I do want to go euro-hopping during some leave and check out all the countries. I already got a few friends scattered about europe so wherever I go I'll have a social pipeline into the network. I honestly can't wait.

The festival is outstretched over the whole town of Leipzig and the spectrum

of music is formidable. You can find E.B.M, Industrial, Noise, Metal, Batcave,

Horrorpunk, Dark-Wave, Gothic, Metal, Medieval, Neofolk and many more.

Beside the music there are expositions, poetry readings, LARP, movie performances

and a medieval market within the festival.
