So, uhh, hi...

This here WILL be my hubby, when the benevolent forum gods decide to behave themselves and let our dear moderator add people.

Until then we'll just pretend he's shy.

He's a smart ass aside from other issues, so from what I can tell, he'll fit in just fine. ;)

*drum roll*

How much (rougly) does getting a 3' X 5' poster lamianted cost?

How much do ID Card sized laminations cost? (with the "hard" plastic)

Omg WoW. That was my full time job for about 14 months.

Chain-mail? I tried it, but i sucked so bad and had no "fellow chainmailers" that i finally switched to other things. Learning it straight from the book, and having no one to ask kinda pissed me off as i remember. Although i was like 15 at the time. hrmmm *ponders*

Art is good.

Sweet. haha.

Welcome again. Hopefully we can trick you, er.. talk you into becoming a regular.

lamination that large is $3 per square foot, so 45 bucks.

To do ID tags, it's $1.25 per.

One trick I've found is to use a metal rod to make the rings. Wooden dowels tend to provide inconsistent ring sizes.

Oh yeah, and the rings provide hours of family fun for your vacuum cleaner.

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
