I know most DCC members wouldn't be caught dead on DGN.

But if you've decided to give us a try, you're very welcome.

dont want to be here? Why? I dont understand this fued

Well, unless they start a new board, no more feuding.

Maybe some of them will give DGN a genuine chance.

It would be nice to see that result in a really big, thriving board, akin to successful ones like the Seattle board.

I'd like to be as welcoming as possible. :)

I don't get why they WOULDN'T want to be on here. We're the shit. And we're full of fun shinanigans, which happen to be more fun than their creepy shinanigans. Well okay, that's a bit arrogant, but seriously guys give us try. We bite just as hard.

It's because they had an open flame forum. And they could actually tell another member how they really felt about them on that thread section. When the board was up I met a couple people who were alright... but most said they despize this place because of the lack of free speech allowed here. It's just a personal choice I guess.

You is correct actually, I think. It's not even that we need an "open flame" forum, but the second anyone says anything on here that's slightly controversial we get yelled at. I'm not trying to stereotype either, but quite a few gothy types are well, angst ridden and opinionated so since it's a goth forum people should be able to express themselves more as such. I'm not saying we should be sitting around yelling at each other all day, but if someone has beef with an opinion or something of that sort, it should be allowed to be said. (2 cents). I'll crawl back in my corner now. Like there's a few people I've noticed that have been banned for things that weren't all that legit. (and now after all that I'll probably be one of them  ) ...sorry if I made anyone mad with that, it wasn't directed toward anyone just a generalization.

DGN is not so much about what's said, but how you say it. You don't have to be an ass to disagree. I guess some people feel like that's censorship. I say, fuck em. If you can't use intelligence and vocabulary to disagree without name-calling and petty flaming... I don't want to know you.

i dont agree on flaming.

keyboard commandos can go to hell.

there are people here i do not like and i have told them so openly without it being classed as a flame war.

flaming is a rathjer childish thing to do, feelings and opinions can be expressed without the hysterics here. thats why i like this board.

to and DCC members, hope you enjoy this place as much as i do

See, that's what I like about this board, nothing is said in public, but everyone gossips lmao. Keyboard flaming is rather silly, but that's actually one of the things I liked aobut DCC as well... a good burn is still a good burn, and the better the roast, the funnier it is. I don't care about those hot heads that threaten, that's the silly part, but if someone throws out a really funny insult... dcc was the place to catch it.

I honestly don't know DCC enough to form an opinion... all I know is that people from there should feel welcome/nonthreatened here

Ditto that.

Who are these people ? & Why should we care ?

Having a civil debate instead of a flame war is not censorship. In fact, I would rather have an intelligent, civil debate with someone whose opinions are totally opposite mine (ask anyone I know about that!) that I would care to have a flame war with anyone.

Well I like this boards policy. Most of the time they make people keep private things private.....which is how it should be. I only say things public that should be kept private if someone attacks me unjustly first......I have more pride than to air my dirty laundry.

However my man will not let me donate anymore money until that N word is removed from the board.....sorry folks......we feel pretty strongly about that.

I can't find their MySpace .... ?

well it's been a while ago, but i visited DCC and other than a few people i met in person... some of them believed they where gods of CC and could comment on people and things like how they dressed and personalities with out even knowing the person. Some of the DCC people where cool though and friendly and I think at one time where on the old DGN board before it moved.
