Homicidalheathen Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I am not going over like 20 bucks I guess? Anyone?
freydis Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I am not going over like 20 bucks I guess? Anyone? I'm assuming pop filter for vocal recording? You could always make one, i guess....
BrassFusion Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 It makes a butt lizzode of difference really, but a cheap one will probably serve just fine for anything but something that needs to be REAL super polished. And by that time, you'd probably want to get third parties recording you anyway...
Fierce Critter Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I HIGHLY recommend them. They've helped me a lot. I've done fine with a thin men's sock stretched over a bent coat hanger. Ever see the video for "We Are The World?" They actually used women's nylon knee-hi's stretched over what are probably coat hangers. Now, what I need are CAT filters!!! I can't get through a single take of a song without someone mewing or hissing or pitching a similar noisy fit.
odims_sphere Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 They are also good for seeping all the nasty little spittles from getting your very expencive mic thus eventually ruining it.
Homicidalheathen Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 Got one. Now when I re-record you have to tell me if you can honestly tell a difference, ok?
