slingerlandstyx Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 people. stupid-ass people. more specifically, customers. the ones who come into the subshop and say "give me a medium sub" (sure, uh which kind?) "regular" (there is nothing called 'the regular sub' on the menu!) its like going to taco bell and saying 'gimme a burrito' or the guy who ordered a sub no lettuce and then returned it wanting the whole thing re-made and a refund because there was literally ONE SHRED of lettuce that was stuck to a piece of cheese that was put on his sub. Dear Lord, have you NOTHING better to do with your life!?! Kudos from a Jimmy John's alumni member. JJ's only has two options for sizes, if you can call them that. 8" french (white) bread, or sliced wheat. I always cracked up whenever they'd ask for a 12" on wheat, and a 6" on white. Or when they'd get pissed off because the sandwich that they ordered on wheat was on french bread. IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!
jadnifer Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 People that talk behind other peoples backs. I had this happen today by someone that I really care about. It sucks. Drama also sucks...I know that Ive said it before but Im just reiterating it now.
pomba gira Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Those things to hard open with hardshell plastic, how much you try to open it..still can't open them all the way the item get stuck, you pull and cut and slice your finger or jam your self some way, some how..you mange open the packaging like an hour latter or more. YES!!! gawd those things are a colossal pain in the wazoo! also... ignorance by choice stereotypes wanton disregard for the wellbeing of others people who talk on cell phones while driving abuse or neglect of animals, children, or elders general bad parenting and the "don't tell me how to raise my kids" attitude that so often accompanies it racism, sexism, ageism... any kind of discrimination...and, people who deny that these are "real" issues and insist that there is a "level playing field" the "she shouldn't have worn the dress" mentality No Child Left Behind refusal to take responsibility for one's actions negative attitudes toward sexuality
bean Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 arrogance bad drivers drama bad parenting people who complain about everything narcissism attention whores people who abuse animals/people people with a sense of entitlement when customers ramble off information too fast and no human can possibly type that fast and then they get pissed off when I nicely ask them to repeat the information slower.
Jadis Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I knew it!!! Well.. ya know ... it happens. Just so long as you know that even when I'm mad at you there is no love lost.
freydis Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 What, you make yourself mad? The back of your head makes me mad, too..... lol
creatureofthenyte Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 What doesn't make me mad at myself? anything or anyone who makes you feel happy about yourself, would be my guess...

the eternal Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 people. stupid-ass people. more specifically, customers. the ones who come into the subshop and say "give me a medium sub" (sure, uh which kind?) "regular" (there is nothing called 'the regular sub' on the menu!) its like going to taco bell and saying 'gimme a burrito' or the guy who ordered a sub no lettuce and then returned it wanting the whole thing re-made and a refund because there was literally ONE SHRED of lettuce that was stuck to a piece of cheese that was put on his sub. Dear Lord, have you NOTHING better to do with your life!?! Customers. Do you *really* have to describe in great detail what your computer is doing as you restart it? I've actually just about become numb to that. But what still irks me is when someone calls needing help. For assistance, their monitor isn't working. They are pissed and somehow it's all your fault and they have a shitty attitude towards you. You feel like scum, but you have to ask, "Is it powered on?" You hear them say something like, "Oh", then click... they just hang up on you! Aarggghhhhh! Customers.... oh, wait, did i already say that? I'm going to summarize: Stupid people that get mad at us because of their own stupidity The thing is, without stupid people, many of us would be out of a job DRAMA!! DRAMA!! DRAMA!! See, I like drama. Unfortunately I haven't seen any plays in awhile. I'd even settle for a good grown-up movie, but I'm too busy. YES!!! gawd those things are a colossal pain in the wazoo! also... ignorance by choice stereotypes wanton disregard for the well being of others people who talk on cell phones while driving abuse or neglect of animals, children, or elders general bad parenting and the "don't tell me how to raise my kids" attitude that so often accompanies it racism, sexism, ageism... any kind of discrimination...and, people who deny that these are "real" issues and insist that there is a "level playing field" the "she shouldn't have worn the dress" mentality No Child Left Behind refusal to take responsibility for one's actions negative attitudes toward sexuality I'm with you 500% on almost everything you listed (I even agree with the last two but...) I do so many things while driving, I can't even keep with them. I figure, I drive so badly, why not include a change of clothes, two cell phones, and a close shave, right? It makes it more sporting, don't you think? I'm absolutely guilty of the "shouldn't wear that dress" Maybe it's because I hate my own body, but I look at these young women with the shirts that dont quite reach that push their tummies outward, and I think, there are so many attractive clothing options that would flatter your figure, why choose from the Juniors whore collection? That said, bigger women can be dead sexy. Now excuse me while I go look at my size 34Ws that no longer fit me arrogancebad drivers drama bad parenting people who complain about everything narcissism attention whores people who abuse animals/people people with a sense of entitlement when customers ramble off information too fast and no human can possibly type that fast and then they get pissed off when I nicely ask them to repeat the information slower. Let's see: arrogance-check, bad driver-check, complainer-check, attention whore-depends on my mood-check, Ok let me bitch about this last one for a sec. Here's the variation I get. People that take forever leaving a voice message and then say their phone number like they're the micromachines announcer on crack. sample voice mail: My.... name...is...and my...problem...is...If you could...call...me, um after 3P, no, um, before, um 2P. And mynumberis378656. WTF!! I dont care about your rambling I'm going to ask you to go over the shit when I call you back anyway. The one thing I need clear is your phone number. That's it! How can I help you out if I dont have the number to reach you back at???? Now, I'm going to have to play it back seven times and then guess that the reason I only heard me six numbers is that there's a hidden "1" in there somewhere. AAAGH! I don't care what you all say. I like Phee. Particularly when he's controlling and composing. It's true. By pressing down a special key, he plays a little melody.
jadnifer Posted July 30, 2007 Author Posted July 30, 2007 People that steal shit or hide it on you when they know that its important to you
know_buddy_kares Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 pronouns lacking antecedents I'm not trolling you or anything, but this is the third time i seen you post this... whatever happened, those words really did take a massive dookie in your cheerios this morning didn't they?

Steven Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I'm not trolling you or anything, but this is the third time i seen you post this... whatever happened, those words really did take a massive dookie in your cheerios this morning didn't they? well, somebody suggested I improve in this area and I got a bit of a kick out of it, so I used it to death....
creatureofthenyte Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 people who piss pronouns lacking antecedents, into my cheerios.
bean Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Let's see: arrogance-check, bad driver-check, complainer-check, attention whore-depends on my mood-check I wasn't talking about you at all my dear (well, except for maybe the bad driver thing hehe, but your brand of bad driving wasn't what I was referring to). We all have moments of the things that I said get me mad. I was referring to the extreme versions of those things. People who are always arrogant, people who always complain about everything, etc.
