Troy Spiral (13) Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 lol god damn non-bubbly bubble baths! Maybe not enough bubble-stuff for the size of the tub?
squee Posted March 30, 2005 Author Posted March 30, 2005 lol god damn non-bubbly bubble baths! Maybe not enough bubble-stuff for the size of the tub? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i dont know what it is but i use half the friggen bottle i dont know what this upsets me so but believe me it does... cant one thing in my life be fulfilling like my bubble bath
honeymustard02 Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 i dont know what it is but i use half the friggen bottle i dont know what this upsets me so but believe me it does... cant one thing in my life be fulfilling like my bubble bath <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some just aren't that bubbly really. Sounds stupid since it is BUBBLE BATH! lol But I have also found that it depends on water temp also.
Nienna Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 The only time I've had truly bubbly bubble baths is in hot tubs... Then the bubbles tend to overflow and get all over the hotel carpet!
JaneDead Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 yeah i think it could be the water too? like where my mom lives they have well water and it is gross. doesnt seem like anything is too bubbly but rather slimy. ack. and some bubble bath really is not too bubbly - or it bubbles up then just *pops* it seems. i don't do bubble baths anymore for that reason - lack of actual bubbles. if i do take a bath i use some bath salts instead.
Ginevra Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 *points at Dyno's post* This is a very good point. I use essential oils myself. While they're more expensive than bubble bath product is, you don't need but a few drops to get the desired effect. Plus, with the oil in the water, it helps moisturise a little as well. Some people like it and some don't, so it's something you'd have to try out first. I like putting vanilla oil in my bath. Lavendar is nice as well for the relaxing properties. Sandlewood is a nice scent, but I find that it gets too intense in an enclosed place like a tub or shower.
JaneDead Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 oh yes i love using oils too. right now i have these things from aromapharmacy. they are called cheer up and smile bath pills. they look like pills (HUGE pills, but still pills) and they are basically fizzie bath oil tabs. (they also have candles that come in what look like orange medicine bottles- one i have is called "valiumello 50mg". alot of what they sell is pharmacy like/packaged)
Onyx Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I hate that! This kind is more bubbly than most: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...x=BUY-GFI-0-MWS (be sure you try the bath and shower gel and not the "feminine wash" soap - they look a lot alike) The bubbles last awhile too. It's knd of silly howmuch I look forward to soaking in the bath but some days that's the only time I get for me!
Lilith Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 i use what ever product have been givin to me for my b-day or holidays, or when i run out that stuff i get stuff from the dollar/discount store (tablets, oils bubble bath etc....) and it just depends, some of the most expensive stuff i have gotten has been worth nothing and then dollar store stuff works great and vice verses.......... For me it does not matter either way as long as when i get out of the tub i feel all relaxed and soft. lilith
LadyWindstone Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 If you want bubbles in your bath so bad use dish soap. That's what I did when I was little.
Vater Araignee Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 You could try gazillion bubbles too My kids like it better in the bath than on the wand
squee Posted March 31, 2005 Author Posted March 31, 2005 i need to do something... its ruining my life... not really but still
TearSandrille Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 I find the whole bath thing a little disappointing now that I'm not under three feet tall. You jump in remembering how great it was to be bath and find that one half of your body always has to be up out of the water. Completely disappointing.

honeymustard02 Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Yea I need to make a line of tubs for big girls lol. I loved taking baths but I didn't like half of me being out of the water!!!

Completely disappointing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that is so true. that is why i hardly ever take a bath anymore. it really is not so relaxing either when i lay back and my knees stick out of the water. you really can't lay back and be comfortable in a regular tub no matter how big/tall you are when you are an adult.
Nienna Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 You have a cast iron tub? Lucky you! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep.. it's about the only good thing about this apartment, but it definately rocks!
Lilith Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Not at my pad..... claw foot tubs rock! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lestat and i have been redoing our house for the past two years... hopefully one day my master bath will be finished and i too will have a Claw foot tub........ That's what I did when I was little. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i think that would destroy my skin now. i don't know if i did it as a kid or not? but now i know for sure it would make my whole body feel like crap.
