Well, I've probably said it about a bajillion times already, but,

I am single until I meet someone good.

If I never meet someone good, then I will always be single.

If anyone wants to know my definition of good, message me and I will be happy to quote it to ya chapter & verse.

Being single, and doing things to make myself happy, without relying on other people has made me an even stronger person.

That Doesn't mean that I don't want other people in my life, it just means that I can find happiness myself if need be.

I have also found that ever since I became comfortable in my own shell, I am stronger because of that also.

So, if someone good ever comes along, Great. If not, then it certainly won't be the end of my world.

I'm single because I choose to be. There's some things that I refuse to tolerate anymore in relationships, such as it seems that extreme jealousy and possession always come with. If I'm not allowed my own breathing space to do my own thing and have to be next to her 24 fucking 7.... you can bet I'm gonna dump her like a truckload of garbage.

either way.. Paul and I always laugh at ourselves after a bad day.

Wow. I'm going to own up and have the courage to admit things haven't been totally perfect for us here and there for a while. So I did not pick the first answer.

But recently, things have MUCH MUCH improved, and I think some of our best times are ahead of us.

Shit happens. Outside influences intrude. Battle lines are drawn. Saves are made, losses are mourned.

And in the end, I think we'll end up very happy, cantankerous old geezers together.

i am single. have been for 3 years now...

i hate beign single... especially trying to raise a child....

i miss being with someone... i miss having someone to hold me and tell me they love me...

i miss having fights and making up afterwards...

but there are something i don't miss about bing in a relationship...

i don't like having a very jealous b/f or controlling b/f who doesn't trust me....

i don't like having a b/f trying to act like a father figure and being all who i can be friends with and who i can't....

i don't like having a b/f who doesn't enjoy going out once in a while or his friends are more important than mine....

so i want to meet the right person... but i don't know where to start to look

Jon and I just had such a great, great vacation together.

It was like a renewal. He quit smoking, and drinking, and I hope to God it lasts.

Because it feels like the best times we ever had all over again.

I feel recharged. We're working on our nutritional choices, our activity, our spirituality.

If things keep going in this direction, I'm going to need to change my vote to something above the current first choice.
