My Wardrobe

So my favorite color to wear has generally been black. This is due in part to the fact that as redhead it seems so many colors just don't look as good on me as they do on others. So my gf and I have been together for about 3 years now and have noticed that she/we have slowly weaned my closet of most of the black. This really does kinda bother me, especially since she really likes me in pastels and I now own more than I ever thought I could handle. Additionally there is really nothing to do out here as far as going out. One of the main reasons I'm looking forward to DC is that I can go back to my old goth clubs, really dress up/out and get in some good dancing. So I guess what I'm really asking is there little ways I can begin incorporating it back in; or maybe I'm just venting.

Do you have dark colors... Like greens or purples? Maybe even some shades of brown. Those all look good with on redheads and the (usually) light complexion they have. Mix those with some black.

Or you could go for the punk rock/50's chick look like the woman Shade and I talked with at City Club last weekend. Pink poodle skirt and white tee with black spiked collar and darkish make-up. I'd recommend an aqua skirt for your hair color...

Yeah most of my sweaters (always cold) are in fall shades

and as hot the 50's punk thing is I always seem to flop in it, although it is about time for a good rockabilly concert
