Being that I'm not allowed to work or go to school yet do to my immigration status - I just read a lot.. If anyone knows of any work at home LIGIT jobs - PLEASE let me know... I'm a workaholic and I haven't been able to work in exactly a year to the date!!!

I am a stay at home mom. right now I have my hands full. My son is in kindergarten so i have very short days.....take one to school, other to work, later take other to school, pick up from school, pick up from work........Drives me crazy. But I've loved bing home with my son.

Next fall I'm going to go to the community college here and take some algebra classes. Enough to cover the math requirments at Universities. After that, I have not clue what I will do.

I would like to finish my major in Anthropology/physical, with a minor in art histroy and museum studies. I would love to work behind the scenes at a museum, preferably a Natural History museum. Unfortunatly, there is nowhere around here to to that. State sort of had that type of study......but they are mucho $$$$$$ and a bit far. *sigh* another reason why I miss NC!

yea. i did drop by the mead on saturday after work, but i ended up getting one of my jobs basically doubled at the last minute, so it wasnt till 1:30-2ish.

I build flight ready road cases for bands. The site is below...

We have outfitted bands all the way from Little River Band and Foghat, to Lamb of God, Moderndayzero, and American Minor to Billy Squier, ZZ Top, Rod Stewart, Blondie, etc, etc, ad nauseum.

I dearly love my job. It beats the HELL out of any foodservice/retail/automotive job I have ever held, that is for sure. AND...I get to go to work dressed in black jeans and band shirts with my hair down if I so choose. I work assembly and shipping/recieving.

When I get to the point to where I am heading that way for good (I am coming to visit and check things out in two weeks), I will be looking for a job, so if anyone has any leads on something of the manufacturing/retail/automotive(if absolutely necessary) sorts, please let me know.

i have been going to a bar that all my friends go to. it is one of those dives but all the people are great kinda thing. i can let you know what place if you want (in a pm though, not directly on the board) maybe you go there too? but i doubt it. if not for my friends going there so much i would not even set foot in the place. :laughing:

Im a territiory manager for HP overseeing all their retail and big box vendor training and marketing programs. Basically, Im the "hp rep" in charge of all the other reps in Mid-Michigan. Flexible hours, decent pay and no clock to punch. I'm prettty happy other then the outlandish gas prices.
