Homicidalheathen Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 So...according to this info about this someone I know who is rather well, shy....has a huge ego and thinks he is over important because of the way he writes his name. I asked and he said its just cause he is in a hurry. Anyone go for this hand writing analysis stuff? http://www.myhandwriting.com/ http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=549 http://handwritingwizard.com/ http://myhandwriting.com/analyze/index.html
flowofwoe Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Actually the way one writes their name only denotes the way in which they wish to be perceived. The results of the signature are often greatly different from the results of analyzing a page of regular writing.
Homicidalheathen Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Then how can it be taken seriously in Court or by the FBI because, they use them ya know. Wouldnt want my judge and/or jury using this crap on me.
flowofwoe Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 They use handwriting analysis to match handwriting in courts (does signature A match signature B). Not to do psychological evaluations. It's still up in the air as to how accurate it is as a tool for looking into behavior patterns. As far as personality analysis goes, a signature is how you want to be seen, a page of handwriting is how you are. It's different for most people, because most people want to be seen differently from the way that they actually are. Some people think the psychological aspect is crock. I think it needs some refining.
