Scary Guy Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Amber Asylum (I didn't see it mentioned, and it is so worthy of it).
Guest GodfallenPromos Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I vote to clarify, replace "state" with "adjective". -don't beat me- I'm not gonna beat you...i'll save that for not coming to my shows.... and clear is a state, depending on how you view it, but that requires to much philosophical bull right now. Black Candy Americans (no, it's nto a real band...but if I had a band, thats what their name would be...so it counts!!)
torn asunder Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 first off.....no.."clear" isn't a color...it's a state. and... Ceelo Green...voice of Gnarls Barkley. no, clear isn't a state, it's a lack of color, hence the transparency... (and in my opinion, lack of color denotes color[or lackthereof]) lighten up, dood...
pomba gira Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I vote to clarify, replace "state" with "adjective". Yeah but color names are adjectives too so that doesn't really clarify anything... anyway Blue Cheer Angry Red Planet Barry White Macy Gray and I admit this one is a little dicey: The Man in Black (Johnny Cash)
pomba gira Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I already said that!!!! Well, someone alreadyy said Black Eye Peas, too...
shox spiral Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Sorry Phee!! I tried to review all the responses before posting, yet failed miserably anyway. Sigh. I hope no one has said --- Castle Greyskull
Scary Guy Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 lol Rainbow FTW Also all colors are states. We don't actually see colors, we see light reflected at different wavelengths making the appearance of color. Also if you want to get arty (and retarded IMO) Black/Grey/White aren't colors, they're shades. ARGUMENT OVER!
Scary Guy Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Retraction Earlier I said Moev, which means nothing apparently. I was actually thinking of Mauve. I thought of the Doctor Who episode "the empty child" from 2005. They say it funny in Wales I guess. "The TARDIS chases a metal cylinder that is careening its way through space. As the Doctor struggles to keep up with it, he explains to Rose that the cylinder is mauve — the universal colour for danger (as opposed to red, which is too camp for anyone but humans)."
