I also shop Rock of ages and Encore in A2. sometimes I hit yard sales or thrift stores and find great stuff for next to nothing.

I also shop at a few widely unknown stores in small towns that carry records and sell 'em dirt cheap.

*shrugs* I don't know much by him, but he is a Detroit techno artist.

I used to go to Hot Hits because the staff was so completly helpful whereas if they did not carry something they would order it for you then take a few bucks off for not having it. I 'm not sure if they still do that though. I have actually been going to Borders when I want to purchase a cd. They always have what I am looking for and more. They also have an amazing selection of music video dvds not to mention great coffee!

As of late, I get most of my purchased music from Hot Topic. I get a discount so CDs are cheaper, however, the CD prices have been lowered company-wide so they're cheaper from the get-go now.

Back-up plan: Barnes and Noble, because I can order a CD through their website and have it shipped to the store. It usually arrives within a week.

All else fails: I get what I need from online websites.

Hot Topic CDs cheap? I have been surprised at what I have found there, but its usually not cheap from what I see. But then again, I guess they are "new" cds instead of used.

Koffin Kats stuff is being sold at HT now...hmmm.

Anyone can be DJ Godfather all you need is Roland Drum Machine 808 series or something like it, a cheap synthizer from Radio Shack or something like that and microphone for vocals and repating all through the song.

Now I'm living near Portland and a friend owns a record store that only sells goth/industial stuff. So I go there now.

Yeah, I know 'em. :)

Done some good partying out at the "Prid Complex". (the name thier house has been given)

Have not heard of Antiworld.

See Cityrocker out at the club sometimes. Though we tend to go on different nights. Me being out on the EBM/ synthpop nights. Him being out for the Goth/deathrock nights. But every so often we run into each other.

Off the Record maybe? Them and Repeat the Beat used to be in Royal Oak, one of them was on Main St. but later moved over to Washington.

I'm still trying to figure out what was the name of the record store that used to be further north of downtown Royal Oak, almost in Clawson but south of 14 Mile. And no I'm not talking about Flipside. This was some place on Main Street, probably north of 3-Ds [now Luna]. I remember getting Sisters of Mercy and PIL LPs there back in the 80s. They had a really really good selection of music.
