Favorite color jelly bean?

what color/flavor is best of this tasty seasonal treat?

i love black best!

well, i don't like jelly beans. and if i do eat them i eat jelly belly's. the blueberry ones... which are blue... but there was not a blue option.

so the next obvious choice was purple cuz it is just so pretty. and even though i like black, i really hate black jelly beans so i could never say that the black ones taste good. but i have also never had a purple one so i don't know what that would taste like either. i should have gone with red, cuz all red candy usually tastes best. well pink too, but i don't like pink much. and i don't like candy at all so really i had no right taking this poll at ALL.

The colors of jellybeans generally equal these flavors:

Black = licorice/anise

White = usually a plain sugar flavor (sometimes a mint variety)

Red = cherry/strawberry

Green = spearmint

Yellow = lemon (sometimes a mint variety)

Orange = orange

Pink = pepto bismol or wintergreen (sometimes a plain sugar flavor)

Purple = a grapey flavor or more often another plain sugar flavor

When you get into the spicy ones, which I prefer, things get a little different.

The above are generalities. There are so many varieties/manufacturers these days, that widely varies from Brachs to Smuckers, etc.

And Jelly Bellies are a whole different animal altogether. And my favorite aren't made anymore - cinnamon apple.

i guess if i had to eat a regular jelly bean i would go with red. or red and purple together.

i bet i would like something more than the blueberry ones but as a kid, those were the only ones i would eat. i didn't even like candy as a kid.

i don't think i ever tried the buttered popcorn ones. i think i should get a bunch of them just to experience the flavors. who knows i might find a new love. well, i doubt it. i don't think i will ever like any kind of sugary gummy like thing in my mouth.
