Aralis Posted April 13, 2005 Posted April 13, 2005 We saw it. I think they did a good job with it. My fiance loved it and I thought it was alright. Visually it looked awesome but I wasnt too into the whole story. And yeah like everyone else said....lots of violence...nudity. Definitely not a movie to take your child to.
Daevion Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I still want to see this movie...maybe this weekend
Onyx Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I think I want to see it on the big screen. I sometimes get into the visual aspects of a film rather than the content. (I'm shallow that way). I love the visual effects I saw in the previews.
Shade Everdark Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I'd just like to respond to something that FC said about the comparison between finding Sin City bad because of its dialog/acting, and thus needing to do the same with movies like Casablanca or The Maltese Falcon. There's a small difference. Bogey spoke the lines before they got old.
Fierce Critter Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Different movies, different lines. Same delivery, same cheese. But everyone's entitled to their opinion, right?
Daevion Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Decent movie, although a bit too long. Not sure If I could handle watching it again though.
mycroft220 Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I liked the movie, except the dialog did not work all the time onscreen. I wanted to reach onscreen and beat the crap out of Michael Madsen's character(Bruce Willis' partner) because he sounded so wooden. Argh! Other than that, I liked it!
bellbottoms Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 i saw it opening day - i liked the movie. i only covered my face at the very end of the movie. LOL
