What Messager You Use The Most?

I use Trillian at home and Yahoo at work... when I am on... which isn't often.

Are they supposed to work now? Its been ages but i know back in Ye Olden Days file transferring was only for the "pay" version of trillian along with just about every other feature other than just straight messages.

Yeah, they actually upgraded trillian and it works better now. I do prefer Y!messenger, but for some reason it won't install correctly on my computer. Come to think of it my computer has just been acting up a lot lately, I think it's about time to reformat again, bleh...

I use AIM6... it's very close to Yahoo, not as many cool smilies, but you can receive offline messages and you are usually able to send messages to offline friends as well, permitting they don't have a really really old version of AIM.

Who remembers BBS (Bulletin Board Systems)

I used go on them before INTERNET ever existed.

I used log on ones called The Zoo, The Round Table, The Jungle, Radio Wave..to name a few.

For anyone don't know what a BBS is which makes me feel old.

It was DOS / Windows Terminal Connection to another person computer you would dial into.

You could file share, post up messages like we do on DGN and share files.

Then when the birth of the INTERNET and elimination of DOS latter on..BBS were blast in the past.

I still remember talking to some girl on there and she went to City Club..that was like 1993. If you used go on BBS and was her..let know or you might know this girl.

I use MSN. I've been trusting it for 8 years now, and has never thrown me randomly off the way Yahoo tends to do. And people from chats can't find you & chat. Just the ones you know and accept.

I use trillian, tho, cuz it doesn't muddle up my puter... you can't share files, or cam, unless both parties have it, or unless you pay for the upgraded trillian... i have ICQ as well, but don't use it that much.. well, i don't use it at all, but if you wanna IM me through that.... its on my memeber's profile

OH YES: if you wanna add me, please make sure that you tell me you are from DGN, cuz i have a problem w/ bots trying to get me to add them to my buddy list...

I use the Bean Water Messager Service.

They have a very limited client list AND they make house calls
