as it died I became of age, all sorts of 'GOTHS' at CC called me a 'Hippy-Goth' because of my oils and Grungy style.

I have always been morbid, and listened to all sorts of 'new' music in the early 80's

(my bitch mother has good music taste) I also love black as a basis for any wardrobe.

I wear eye liner daily, played masquerade, and kinda look like 'Lurch' when I have that hair cut

so i could understand the Goth part.

Until last week (when my wife was using the dictionary) I've never fully understood the Hippy part.

HIPPY- person of unconventional apperance, typically with long hair, beads, etc.,

often associated with psychedelics and a rejection of conventional values.....

Hope that cracked someones smile.

I thought I answered this the first time around, but I guess I did not. I consider myself part of the goth scene. I don't consider myself "goth" or "not goth" I think it's like beauty, it's in the eye of the beholder.

besides I really don't care either way. I'm just happy being me. It's up to you to determine how goth "me" is. Except for owning a lot of black clothing, I don't think I look even remotely goth outside the clubs. I like some goth music, and I like some non-goth music. Some of my friends consider themselves goth, and some don't. And so on...

It seems like the only people I've met who actually consider themselves goth are the ones whom everyone else in the goth scene call posers. But I don't know everybody...
