Direct Tv Adds... I Hate Them So

Have you guys seen these adds that take clips from movies and re-edit them with the celebs to sell Direct TV? It makes me wanna puke...

It seems to destroy almost any remaining dignity from the actor/actress if there was any to begin with.... grrr

The only one that has particularly bugged me so far is the newest one with Sigourney Weaver from Aliens.

Direct TV bugs me anyway. We had it in NC and when we were ready to cancel our service, I was on the phone for no less than an hour.

well, if you were an actor/actress, that hasn't had work in a long while, and desperately needed some moolah, wouldn't you sign up to an ad ?

I've felt the same way for years about songs in ads. Especially ones that they change ever so slightly to get out of paying royalties.
