Media Player to play all of my CDs.

ZoneAlarm

Media player sucks, check out Media Player Classic (MPC) http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=84358

or Video LAN (Local Area Network) Connect (VLC) http://www.videolan.org/vlc . If you want something simple just get Winamp http://www.winamp.com .

ZA sucks too, get a hardware router or something. Or if you're really computer savvy http://www.smoothwall.org or the open source alternative http://www.foobar2000.org

Software, hardware... Tell us about the computer related stuff that makes you life easier/better/more fun.

For artists... I don't know how anyone can do without a Wacom tablet. I have a large one but you can get them for under $100. In addition to allowing you to draw far better than with a mouse, they can be used alleviate cramps and pains from using a mouse too much. Say good bye to RSI!!

ive been using a pocketpc or devices just like it since i was 18,spent a year with a digiboard the size of a large living room wall.

i would loooove to get my hands on a wacom tablet.

right now i just down load the art into an SD card and use my pocketpc screen .

if i manage to stay online long enough i'll try to find a way to use it as a mouse, possibly through blue tooth and remote desktop control

Explorer shell replacement.

I have to use windows on the main computer. No good DJ apps exist for any other OS yet. But if I'm forced to use it I'll use it my way. Explorer.exe uses around 30 MB of RAM when you FIRST start running it. This uses around 16 MB of RAM.

Still getting used to it, just installed it today. But I will adapt.
