pomba gira Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Kit-kat (wish we got multiple flavors here, like in Japan) Choc-o-lite (marketing genius- make 'em pay for air!) Cherry cordials Cadbury Peppermint (only got 'em when we went to the original F&M store on 9 mile, a real treat!) Ice Cubes Godiva chocolates (huge treat, bought by the piece at Hudson's) Aero bars are indeed available at Meijer, in the British section of the international foods aisle. Also at World Market. I buy 'em once in a while but mostly save my exotic-treat pennies for Japanese goodies like Pocky & fancy Kit-Kats.
hunhee Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 paper dots. that candy that was just put on paper in dot form and you eat more paper than candy, yummy HA I loved those..the paper is how I used to tell my parents that I got the fiber in my diet. I think my parents were so amused at my justification that they let me have it.
Homicidalheathen Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Necos sweetarts recees cups malted milk balls pixie stix.
TrixieGothGirl Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 I also liked eating Sugar Daddies, Sugar Babies & Milk Duds but I can't eat them anymore because they get stuck in my teeth. To this day I'll still eat Jr. Mints though. I found out the hard way though that you don't eat them while drinking soda. Bad combination.

TrixieGothGirl Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 I have something that ya'll might just get a chuckle out of. My best friend sent it to me when we were in 9th grade(1978). It's called: "The Birth of A Candy Bar" One day 'Mr. Goodbar' wanted a 'Bit O Honey', so he took 'Mrs. Hershey' behind the 'Power House'. He unwrapped her 'Resses's Cups' and felt on her 'Mounds'. It was pure 'Almond Joy'. Then he stuck his 'Butter Finger' up her 'Milky Way' where she let out a 'Snicker'. She yelled 'Oh Henry' and squeezed his 'Big Hunk' until there was 'No Jelly'. The result: A 'Baby Ruth'. I still get a kick out of this when I read it.
Homicidalheathen Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 ...I will never look at a mound bar the same way again....

TrixieGothGirl Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 Thank you *takes a bow* anothger thank you. *takes another bow* I'm glad you the two of you got a kick out if it. Anymore out there who liked, loved or hated it? Please don't be shy about your feelings about it, but take into account that a 14 yr old wrote it almost 30 yrs age. Enjoy at your own risk.

Lol good stuff, we had one pretty much the same when we were kids but since alot of those candy bars weren't around when I was little, it was slightly different. But I do remember the part about the mounds and the milkyway and such
