Fierce Critter Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Saw it today and I laughed myself into an asthma attack. I've read a lot about it, both in review & an article about the "making of". So I knew to expect a lot of the more "shocking" stuff, which I won't spoil here. One interesting thing I did read is that some suspect Parker & Stone (who, if you weren't aware, are the makers of South Park) of being closeted conservatives. They are making a definite statement about the way the U.S. government throws its weight around. But they don't let liberals off the hook - not by a LOOOOOOOOONG shot. If you don't give a rats ass about the politics being lampooned here, see it for the puppetry. They don't use modern CGI - it's as rough and silly as the stuff they made in the 60's. The fights are hilarious, as is the sex. Yeah - I said sex. :
