Ah HA! I caught ya :tongue: I saw your name at the bottom of the board and noticed you signed up today....SO...now is the time we bombard you ceremoniously (I possibly made that word up) with a traditional survey and "hello" ritual.

So uhmm tell us a little about yourself. Or don't. We're very neutral here.

*drum roll*

HIGH-LOW!! I'm DBK, the annoyance of DGN. I'm easy to spot at City Club, I'm the crippled kid sporting blue hair and goggles!!

We will do everything we can to make you feel welcomed!! And if you have any questions, concerns or comments feel free to voice them!!

Wow, you guys are really adapt at making someone feel welcome. Thanks.

I'm afraid I've been a lurker for a few weeks on the site getting a feel for things and finally signed up.

I live in Windsor so yes I'm Canadian.

Point of clarification Canadian goths don't hangd upside down crosses in their igloos or name their sled-dogs after Egyptian dieties.

Ok to your questions:

I'm single, and work in the medical field.

I have been married once but have no kids - but I do have a very co-dependent dog!

As far as hobbies, I'm Canadian so of course I play Hockey. I do lots of fitness stuff, music, art and have a guilty penchant for enjoying Sci-Fi and Frat comedies.

I've been a big fan of the goth/industrial music scene for years, and have spent many a night at the City Club and the Shelter. I'm a big fan of SOM (I'm so gullible that I believe that the Sisters of Mercy will truly release a new album and tour again afterall it has only been 17 years since Vision Thing), NIN, Covenant, Skinny Puppy, MOEV, WolfSheim.

I kind of stumbled on to the DGN site accidentally I think I was doing a google search looking for new music recommendations.

Thanks again for the awesome welcome.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
