I had strep throat once long ago. It was caused by a sinus infection. I coughed so much for 3 weeks that I eventually lost my voice completely (and the peasents rejoice). Hang in there Marblez.

Don't underestimate the following statement, it is as open as I get:

I really am a baby when I am sick. It is at times like these, I want my Mom so bad. One thing most difficult about "sick" is "sick and alone" and even worse than that is "sick and alone with no mom".

I know how that goes, Marblez.. Remember a couple months ago when I was homeless? Yeah, I had some kind of fucked up sore throat, was homeless, alone, and one of those days was my birthday, which nobody called to tell me happy birthday..

I become a baby when I get a headache.. Slightest headache and if aspirin or aleve or something doesn't make it go away I can't function at all

I am feeling worse than I did last night. It hurts to swallow now. My head feels as if it is going to explode and my body is just bleh.

I miss my son so badly, but he is staying at his dad's house until I am better. :tear

Back in December I had some virus from hell. Every time I swallowed it felt like someone was stabbing me in the throat. Wasn't strep throat, and they couldn't figure out what was the cause. This lasted for a week and a half and I would hardly eat. All I wanted was jello and icecream and even those were a challenge.
