Homicidalheathen Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I like texting now. Even when he sends me some stupid xrated cartoon at 3am......I know, out with his buddies drinking....he is thinking of me.... And.........when i am at a concert and its too loud to talk but I am looking for someone.....I can still at least read! Also, it gives me a break from being hounded about plans. I can break them without arguement. I just send a text and then turn off my phone!
Sybil Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yep... I am recently converted also. I quite enjoy texting. Quick hellos to friends that I KNOW are busy with work or whatever. Its my way of lettin people I adore know that they are being thought of.
Sybil Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 *whispers* (and then there are camara phones and picture mail) *gulps* (its expensive and i hate that part.. but i love love love picture mail)
freydis Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 i like it too. i tend to bug people with it, though. *puts on her special 'nuisance' label on her forehead*
Head Wreck Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 someone from detroit phoned my once. its was 9:30 PM there. theres a 5 Hr time differance. so i was a little grouchy. that person didnt sleep the next night as i saved my 10 free text mesages a day all for one hour intervals the next night. :D
Sybil Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! I mean.. tsk tsk tsk
creatureofthenyte Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I much prefer just talking live if Im using my phone, although mail is fun I agree...
kellygrrrrrl Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I <3 txtng 2! & it mks me feel special
Head Wreck Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 i never use text speach tbh, and try to keep some sembelance of punctuation in my tests. langage is something to be cherished not bastardised
kellygrrrrrl Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I know HW.... But.... It costs me minutes to text...and shortening it as much as possible is a $ saver for me!
creatureofthenyte Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I think talking is better then texting because, if you happen to have the same wireless carrier as the person you talk to, for example I have AT&T, I can talk to someone else that has AT&T cell service for free; no minutes used by either person.. whereas text messages cost me 10 cents sending or recieving.
sass_in_the_pants Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Texting? *sigh* I write letters. Like with a pen and a stamp. That's okay, it matches my scotch habit, and hat and glove collection.
