I've mentioned before here and there how I used to love to go see a local band called The Hellbenders, who played spagghetti western theme songs and related songs, right?

And also mentioned how they're just one of several names the same guys perform under, others being the 3D Invisibles (monster rock), The Twistin Tarantulas and the Volcanoes (surf rock) and the KAOS Killers (60's spy music).

Well, goddamn if I didn't accidentally come across videos of a couple of the bands on YouTube, put up by band leader Creepy Rick! Linky to the videos.

They're still playing together. This so rocks. Creepy Rick also has a Myspace page. There are lots of links to friends that are actually events and other postings of goth-a-billy goodness.

Jon and I are definitely going to the horror swap meet on October 20th.

GEEKED!!!! :peanutbutterjellytime:

Probably not. Into the swap meet (meat?) for the band pretty much.

The myspace page for that zombie walk could be set up a little better. Doesn't have a real in-your-face "here's what it involves, when, where, how" thing.

It's kind of thrown together

www.detroitzombiewalk.com is better, but it's a different walk on the 29th of THIS month.

I don't really care, zombie walk is a zombie walk.

What I really want to do is take over a mall :D
