Lance Henrikson was a lot of fun in that movie.

Might want to check around video stores and see if they have a used copy for sale.

No... it was made in 1987... before the game came out, the game was influenced by the movie though

I just like it because it's not all over the top and silly (Like say "Lost Boys" which I hate!!!!) It is very grounded and human feeling... real characters and whatnot...

Its very good, the vampires are human, not beasts like in say john carpenters vampires. But the vamps in this are just crazy and kill for fun. they arent the "oh im so petty let me seduce you" kind. Its very cool.

Although I thought a lot of it was cheesy as well. Guy gets shot in the chest and spits it out of his mouth? I think not.

SUCCESS!!!! I found a copy at the Novi Best Buy and I was planning on heading out that way today anyways, freacking perfect. I will be watching it tonight.

This is one of my favorite vampire movies along with Fright Night. Pure classics. Not over the top gore with great story lines. I don't feel any cheese is involved either. I'm disappointed to find out that there are remakes planned for both of these movies.
